The GuestMap is a service to post an icon on your location on the map provided by Bravenet Web Services.

Click below to view the GuestMap:

The GuestMap may take 15-30 seconds to display.

If the GuestMap never comes up, the possible reasons why are the following:

If you're using software to block POP UP WINDOWS, you'll need to disable that because it may detect the GuestMap Window as a Pop Up.

The GuestMap uses JavaScript.  If the default security settings in Internet Explorer aren't used, in Internet Explorer 6.0 (early versions may look different), go to "Tools" on the menu bar, then Internet Options, go to the Security tab, in the internet zone, click custom level, down towards the bottom under Scripting - Active scripting, choose enable or click default in the security tab.

You may have to restart your browser for the setting to take affect or you may just need to refresh the page.  Remember my website address or bookmark it!

The GuestMap may not be supported by older browser software.  Updating is free and won't take away any personal settings (favorites, bookmarks, address books, etc.).  If you haven't updated your software within the last 1-2 years, then you'll need an update.  You can see the version you have under the Help menu, About...

To update (for free) to the latest version of Internet Explorer, visit the Microsoft Windows Update website at windowsupdate.microsoft.com.  Remember to add my website to your favorites.  Installing updates usually requires you to restart your computer.

To check JavaScript in Netscape, go to Edit on the menu bar, Preferences, down to Advanced section, first option: Scripts & Plug-ins, check Enable JavaScript for Navigator.  Also Netscape has a tool to block Pop-up Windows, which may block the Guest Map Window because it comes up like a Pop-up, so for that purpose, go under Privacy & Security section, go under Popup Windows and select to allow popups.  These steps are from Netscape version 7.2.  If you don't have the latest version, you can go to Netscape.com to update for free.  Bookmark my site so you can get back to it after you updated your software.  Same with Internet Explorer, updating won't take away any personal settings (bookmarks, address books, etc.)

If you use a different browser (such as AOL), try Internet Explorer.
