I was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee. When I came out of my mom's stomach the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck and I was blue. I've heard other children are born with the cord around neck and not have any problems or diagnosed with anything. So it wouldn't make since if that had anything to do with my autism. The primary doctor was out of town. I was about to be delivered by nurses, but the secondary doctor finally arrive a minute before I came out. My mom said it was an easy pregnancy. Due date was Nov. 2. On Nov. 3, Monday morning, at 11:15 A.M. the water broke. My mom was in labor for only 6 hours and 10 minutes. I was quick. I'm the second child. First child, my older brother, took 12 hours. I was brought home from the hospital on Nov. 6. It says in my baby book, I slept off and on during that day. During the night I cried hard from midnight to 4 A.M. and my parents (and aunt was visiting) took turns holding me. Same thing the next night, but calmed down, but I had a real fussy time in the evening for weeks.
